Join Businesswomen for Christ for networking, inspiration, lunch, and fellowship on the fourth Thursday of each month. July’s featured speaker will be Denise Ashurst, founder of PrideinPurity International Ministry.

Denise Elizabeth was born in Yonkers, New York to Julian and Regina Howard and is the sister of Gerald and Gilbert Howard. Life’s journey lead her to 5 years of working with Down syndrome children, 20 years in the military (Air Force) and 11 years with the Department of Energy (Nevada Test Site). She is now retired from Government work and solely serves the Lord through the PrideinPurity International Ministry.

Denise is the mother of three beautiful children, Narada, Danielle, and her stepson Jay. She founded the PrideinPurity International Ministry in 2006 and has since visited numerous countries to include the United States. She teaches women from 9 to 99 years old the principles of purity, pertaining to the Bible.

Denise has also authored three books and working on the third book in the purity series. But she is most noted, for her fervent love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With all of her heart, mind, and strength, she thrives on carrying and handing off the purity torch to all women on His behalf… “Changing the culture of women, one girl at a time.”
