Prideinpurity received the Library of Congress Certificate of Registration for Prideinpurity (Solid Foundation). The Devotional is now part of the Library of Congress as an approved Copyright. My prayer is that every eye that reviewed the book (Chap.3) during the approval process was introduced and accepted the Lord… To Jesus be all the glory!

SUMMER FUN
Starting May 27, 2013, Prideinpurity will hosting its first “Summer Purity Bible Study” in Boulder City. The study is for girls 13 and older who which to grow closer to Jesus and learn of His teachings. Class times will be 5:30pm to 6:30pm every Monday evening for six weeks sessions. For those who have the study book “Ribblets” and a Bible, the class is free. There is only a $10 cost for “Ribblets” for those who do not. So what does it mean to be a Mom?
I have not far to look as I look upon my mom. A woman who lost her mother when she was a little girl and raised in the South, in the shadows of an oppressed people in her own country. A woman with very little education that raised three children and lovingly tended to a husband with addictions. A woman who was up early and late to bed; over-seeing her household. A woman who never owned a drivers license, but has traveled most of her beloved State of New York. Walking, busing, and of course the subway… but, she was always on time for school plays, sports, or doctor’s appointments. A woman with three young children in tow, received her GED, went to nursing school and graduated. A woman who retired the work force (one place of employment) after 40 years of nursing in a Catholic Convent Home for Elderly Nuns. A woman who put others first and who’s home (still) is the central focus during holidays and funerals. A woman who desired a better life for her children and saw her prayers answered. A woman who lost the love of her life for over fifty years and all her siblings save one out of six; whom I most remember kneeling by her bed praying hard for her family; sometimes through tears. Now 80 years old, she’s still a woman with a heart of gold, who loves to sing, and who out walks her children;} A woman who now shepherds’ over her grandchildren with the utmost joy and excitement! A woman I adore and daily thank the Lord for… Happy Mother’s Day, Regina Rita Howard… Mom!

Meeting the Mayor of Las Vegas…
Yesterday, Prideinpurity with Major Carolyn Goodman and spoke with her for a good length of time. We were delighted to hear her personal values on Purity and that she embraces the concept of Purity for young woman. She also stated that she looked forward to seeing this ministry grow, not only in her city; but around the world. Please pray for Mayor Goodman and for all our appointed officials in the nation; as well as those abroad who represent our nation.
“Pray and intercede for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty; for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Purity Girls…
Last night I was giving one my newest Purity Graduates a ride home from Youth Group. She told me her favorite Bible Scripture out of her new Bible… Psalms 91:1. She didn’t read it to me she recited it, she took the time to memorized it… Praise the Lord for new believers and their zeal! Please keep our youth who have a desire to learn of Jesus and walk in His ways in prayer.
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:9-10

God always preserves a remnant, and these Hand Maidens have completed a six weeks Purity Class showing their commitment to seek God’s Will for their lives and that they are willing to wait on the Lord before making the second most important decisions in lives, marriage… The first being Salvation! Congratulations girls!

Whoever said life after retirement can be dull? After all one just lounges around and eat bonbons right? Not… did I hear somebody say HGTV? Yup you heard them alright… so let’s start at the beginning. The blissful couple met and married in 1990, just kids some might say., but Mike and Amanda had already charted their coarse as civil servants. Mike, the FEMA point-man for Nevada and Amanda in politics. Both where very bright and together they would conquered the world! It wasn’t until Colin there Son came who truly made this family complete! It would be years later that fate cross our paths. As the Lord would have it, we intersected one Sunday morning as I entered my church for service. It was well known over the years that my heart’s desire was for the people of Belize. I had visited the country in 2005 and fell in love with the people of the Toledo District, they had left a great impact and captured my heart; I longed to return. The girls, Carol and I, will tour Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Honolulu, visit Calvary Chapel Honolulu and Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor; and tour the island of Oahu… Mission: Do all things as we would do unto the Lord, Pray daily for each person we meet, Give thanks to God as He has chosen us for this season, and remember that obedience is better than sacrifice… Please keep us in prayer for divine opportunities and divine appointments!On His behalf,-denise

Carol and I (seen here with ladies from “Door of Hope”) attended the Calvary Chapel Pastor/ Ministry leader’s Conference this weekend which was very enlightening. My spiritual eyes and ears where sensitive to God’s words of direction, focus, and resting in Him!
